“It was unfortunate. That was kind of an exchange with Cowboys supporters out in front of us,” Jones stated during a Tuesday interview. “Present was a swarm of Cowboys fans—not New York fans, Cowboys fans. The whole venue was brimming with excitement for the Dallas team.”
He further clarified that the signal was entirely accidental, occurring amid the elation following the team’s final touchdown. “I just showed the wrong digit,” he remarked. “It was inadvertently performed. This is sincere. Should you call it unplanned, you can. But it got corrected pretty quick.”

This incident isn’t the first time an league proprietor has been fined for inappropriate behavior. Recent cases involve:
